MEETINGS

The Western Colorado Chapter typically holds its regular business meetings the first Monday of each month in Grand Junction.  Networking begins at 6:15 pm and the business meeting/dinner follows promptly at 6:30 pm ($20 members / $22 guests).  Our programs include professionals in our industry who keep us abreast of changes within the trade in addition to other topics of interest.  The regular board meetings are held prior to the business meetings at 5:15 pm. If you would like to attend a meeting please RSVP to Mary Ellen at  maryellen@eedw.net by the Friday morning prior to the meeting.

    January - Elaine Harris will be speaking on Facebook, the social media revolution

    February - Linda Patterson (Moody-Valley Insurance Co.) will be speaking on
                       Contractor's Insurance.

     March - come celebrate WIC (Women in Construction) Week with Imelda
                   Mulholland (Hoskin Farina & Kampf) speaking on Employer's I-9
                   Compliance and Immigration Laws.

     April - meeting at E & E Door & Window.

     May - Diana Thuma (Gotcha Covered) will be speaking on Window Coverings
                and Fashions

     June - 2010-2011 Officer Elections

     July -  Chapter Picnic

     August - Lisa (Academy of Martial Arts) will be giving a presentation / demonstration
                          in self-defense moves.

     September - 2011-2012 Officer Installation and
                             Kathryn Lobdell, Business advisor from the Small Business
                             Development Center in Grand Junction will be our speaker. The topic is
                             “New Federal Contracting Opportunities for Women Owned Business
                             (known as the 8M program under the SBA regulations).

     October - Bryce Bryce Christianson, Doctor of Chiropractic on avoiding repetitive
                            motion injuries and ergonomics
